AFTER YOUR MOVE IS DONE!

  1. Enjoy your new home! Moving into the new house, and the first day after your move can be a huge stress relief and you will have a chance to feel so much more calm and collected once everything is in your new home.
  2. Start unpacking the mountain of boxes. This can be done at a much more relaxed pace than packing can! If you took the time prior to moving to label and organize your boxes, you will even have a great idea of which boxes can be left unpacked longer than others.
  3. Make sure your address is changed with all of the companies you deal with!
  4. Help your pets acclimatize to your new home – if you have pets! The move can be a bit stressful for them, and they will certainly love the opportunity to explore the new home with you.
  5. Make new friends with your neighbours, and take some time to explore your new neighbourhood and city!
