- Enjoy your new home! Moving into the new house, and the first day after your move can be a huge stress relief and you will have a chance to feel so much more calm and collected once everything is in your new home.
- Start unpacking the mountain of boxes. This can be done at a much more relaxed pace than packing can! If you took the time prior to moving to label and organize your boxes, you will even have a great idea of which boxes can be left unpacked longer than others.
- Make sure your address is changed with all of the companies you deal with!
- Help your pets acclimatize to your new home – if you have pets! The move can be a bit stressful for them, and they will certainly love the opportunity to explore the new home with you.
- Make new friends with your neighbours, and take some time to explore your new neighbourhood and city!
